Doc and his wife, Lola, live a simple life in their 1950s Midwest city, taking on a young college student, Marie, as a boarder to help make ends meet. But when Marie brings home fellow coed and male model, Turk, the new dynamics open old wounds that threaten to drive Doc and Lola apart. Will they find each other again?
